BFS Simplified

Must demonstrate at least two (2) full years of operation of their business
Must be self-employed for less than three (3) years in order to qualify under the BFS Simplified Program
If a borrower has been working for an extended period of time and recently became self-employed in the same field, performing essentially the same function with the same skill requirements, the BFS (2) year operation requirement (see first bullet point above) does NOT apply.
